Jun 28, 2010   //   by pospisil   //   Blog, News  //  No Comments

Friday, February 20th, 2009:

NGMOCO and Stumptown Game Machine selected JPAD to create sound effects for the upcoming iPhone title Touch Pets: Dogs. Look for a game release in Spring 2009.

“In Touch Pets Dogs, players adopt, nurture and play with their virtual puppies through one-on-one touch screen interaction or on play dates with other players’ dogs from around the world. The ambitious Touch Pets social network, embedded within the game, allows owners and dogs alike to build relationships with other players and their Touch Pets. Puppies’ social lives continue to evolve whether their owners are logged into the game or not, and the results are broadcast for the world to see on the Touch Pets social network dog feed.”

The exhibition features “Art in Motion” consisting of both classic and contemporary works. JPAD created a unique soundscape for each work of art that combined music, sound effects and sound design elements to audibly reflect upon each piece’s subject and helped to deepen the experience that each piece brings to the museum’s patrons.

Starlight Symphony Orchestra to Play JPAD

Jun 28, 2010   //   by pospisil   //   Blog, News  //  No Comments

Sunday, October 5th, 2008:

The Starlight Symphony Orchestra will perform 30 minutes of John’s music as part of a concert featuring Northwest composers. This will include a 20-minute montage of original game music arranged to reflect the game play experience as well as a 10-minute piece written specifically for the orchestra.

For those of you in the area, I encourage you to attend this concert as I am sure you will enjoy this evening of local classical music. I have been keeping an eye (and both ears) on this orchestra for over a year and their musical growth is inspiring.
